Scheduling for dental practices
Dental practice scheduling with automatic confirmation
A patient who misses a ninety-minute root canal is a gap that won't be sold again. And confirming by hand, one by one, eats the front desk's whole morning.

Root canal takes 90 minutes. A calendar that treats everything as “an hour” will offer you a slot that service doesn't fit into.
Why it fits
Why WhatsApp scheduling fits dental practices
Treatments run very different lengths: a cleaning and a root canal don't take the same space.
A no-show is expensive, and a reminder with confirmation is the cheapest way to reduce it.
Many treatments run across sessions: the patient comes back, and their history matters.
Services
Typical durations in this trade
Duration is what decides which times get offered to the patient. These are the usual values to start from and adjust with your own measurements.
What changes in your calendar
Setup and turnaround times are configured per treatment: the chair is blocked including prep and disinfection, not just the time with the patient.

Your calendar
How your calendar ends up
One dentist, one schedule
Each dentist sets their own days and hours, split shifts included. Anyone without their own inherits the business hours.
The assistant checks before it answers
It never tells the patient you're full or closed without having looked at your calendar. If it tries, the system blocks the reply and forces it to check.
A reminder the day before
The patient confirms or says they can't make it, and that slot goes back on sale.
Days you open as an exception
A Sunday or a public holiday opens for that date, without touching the weekly schedule. The assistant respects it.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Does this replace clinical records?
No, and that matters: AgendaYa runs the calendar. It is not an electronic health record and does not meet the regulatory requirements of one. It handles getting the patient booked, confirmed and through the door.
Can the assistant give the patient instructions?
It can give the ones you configure: how to prepare, what to bring, your cancellation policy. It gives no diagnoses and no clinical advice — if a patient asks something like that, it hands the conversation to someone at the practice.
Does it work with several dentists and two chairs?
Yes. Each clinician has their own calendar and treatments, and the system works out the day's real capacity across the whole team. If only one specialist performs a treatment, only their hours are offered.
