Data deletion

You can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you. How to do it depends on your relationship with AgendaYa.

This is a translation for convenience. The Spanish version is the binding one.

If you messaged a business over WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger

The data from that conversation — your profile name, your phone number or channel identifier, the messages and any appointments you booked — belongs to the business you messaged. AgendaYa processes it on their instructions.

You have two routes:

If you have an AgendaYa account as a business

You can close your account from the dashboard. When you close it, we delete your business, your team, your services, your clients, your appointments and your conversations after 90 days. We keep only what accounting and tax law requires us to keep (invoices and payment records).

If you want deletion to be immediate rather than after 90 days, write to us and we’ll do it.

If you disconnect Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp

When you remove AgendaYa’s authorization from your Meta account settings, or from Settings > Apps and websites, Meta notifies us and we delete the data we had received from those platforms: page and account identifiers, access credentials and advertising attribution data.

Messages and appointments already in the business’s calendar are not deleted automatically in that case: they are the business’s operational records, and it remains their controller. To delete those, follow the first route on this page.

What we delete

We cannot delete what is already in accounting records, nor what another controller (the business, or Meta) holds independently in their own systems.
